11. Position Reports via Email

With SnapTrack you can even deliver position reporting via email. If you do not have a GPS reporting device you can still use our SnapTrack service. Just send an email to [email protected] with your current position to be posted on the tracking page.
 
Submitting position reports via email
 
Compose an email in the following format:
 
To: [email protected]
Subject: <nothing is required here>
Body:     <snap username>
<lat, lon>
 
for example
 
To: [email protected]
Subject:
Body: Scott
     47.122, -122.332
 
That is it! This email will post a position of 47.122 North by 122.332 West for the user Scott.
