If you have never sent an SMS or text message from your 9575 you will need to input Iridium’s SMS Service Center number before requesting your first SpotCast. To do so:
1) Select Menu from the main screen of your phone
2) Scroll down and select Messages
3) Scroll down and select Settings (you will have to scroll down and past the bottom of the first Messages window to see Settings on the top of the second Messages screen)
4) Select Service Center
5) After the +, type 881662900005, then select OK
6) You are now ready to send Outbound SpotCast requests
