Send position (derived from phones position)
Sending to a individual user
Open a message thread for the user you wish to send your position to. Tap the paper clip icon in the messages window and select "Send Position". This sends your current position as a hyperlink. The recipient can then tap the link in their OneMessage app to view the position on Apple Maps or Google Maps (The user will need to have an internet connection for position to be displayed on Apple Maps or Google Maps depending on their phone).
Sending to the group
Open a message thread for the group you wish to send your position to. Tap the paper clip icon in the messages window and select "Send Position". This sends your current position as a hyperlink. The recipients can then tap the link in their OneMessage app to view the position on Apple Maps or Google Maps (The users will need to have an internet connection for position to be displayed on Apple Maps or Google Maps depending on their phone).
Garmin/Zoleo/Bivy users will receive this position message as a text with your coordinates.
